Dried Szechuan Peppercorns

Szechuan or Sichuan peppercorns are a staple in the Sichuan region of China and are as curious as peppercorns get. We find them to be delicious when toasted and ground with mortar and pestle so they are ready be thrown into a spicy Asian dish.
